Throughout Q4 2021, the top business apps on the Android platform in Germany displayed diverse trends in weekly downloads, revenue, and active users. Here’s a closer look at the performance of these leading apps, based on data from Sensor Tower.

Zoom Workplace saw a fluctuating pattern in its weekly revenue, starting from negligible amounts and peaking at approximately $191 in the week of December 6. Weekly downloads for the app ranged between 22K and 42K, with a notable peak of 42K during the week of November 22. Active users experienced a gradual increase to nearly 1.4M by the end of November but saw a sharp decline to around 770K by the last week of December.

Microsoft Teams had no recorded revenue throughout the quarter. Weekly downloads started at 45K in early October and gradually declined to approximately 15K by the end of December. Active users showed a steady growth reaching around 715K by early December but dropped significantly to about 352K in the final week of the quarter.

Document Scan: PDF scanner experienced a steady increase in weekly revenue, peaking at around $667 in mid-November. Downloads fluctuated, with a high of 35K in early November and a low of 9.8K by the end of December. Active users followed a similar trend, peaking at 37K in early November and declining to approximately 19K by the end of the year.

Adobe Scan: PDF Scanner, OCR maintained consistent revenue, with weekly peaks around $700 in mid-November. Downloads remained relatively stable, ranging from 13K to 18K, with active users peaking at 119K in late November but declining to around 71K by the end of December.

Microsoft Authenticator did not generate any revenue during the quarter. Weekly downloads ranged from 12K to 19K, with active users showing a steady increase to 340K by mid-December before dropping to approximately 231K in the final week of the year.
